The Roman Healthcare Group, LLC is conducting a national search for a Patient Safety Manager/Patient Safety Officer to provide leadership in the advancement of patient safety in metropolitan hospital. This critical role will facilitate and coach others within the facility towards culture change and process improvements that support the reduction of medical—healthcare errors and other factors that contribute to unintended adverse patient outcomes. Individual will promote fair, safe, and just principles; will advance these concepts by recruiting and training others within the organization. The Patient Safety Manager will provide leadership, identify safety risks, recommend and facilitate change, oversee safety culture assessments, coordinate the patient safety program, educate practitioners on system based causes for medical error, consult with management and staff, develop policy and procedure effecting safety, and communicate evidence based practices. The Patient Safety Manager will presents programs to increase awareness of patient safety initiatives, including National Patient Safety Goals and other safety initiatives in the organization. The Patient Safety Manager is competent and skilled with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures including:
- Reliability Design Concepts
- Root Cause Analysis, RCA
- FMEA facilitation

Qualified Candidates Must Have:
|
- Bachelors Degree in nursing or other healthcare related field
- 2-4 years strong Leadership experience in patient safety
- Project Management Skills
- Clinical Care Discipline experience is preferred

Location Description:
Denver, CO
Salary: $56,000-$80,000
