Job Description:

The Clinical Specialist is responsible for providing education programs and clinical expertise in Medical/Surgical and Diabetes Unit areas to

improve patient outcomes and quality of care.  The Clinical Specialist will plan, implement and evaluate patient and family care appropriate to the complexity of the problems and resources of the system.  Also, after assessing outcome data, the Clinical Specialist, Nursing Educator will implement changes to care based on the findings.  Areas of responsibility will also include developing educational programs for orientation, training, and staff development.

Qualified Candidates Must Have:

• MSN; Master’s in Science, Nursing
• 3+ Years in Diabetes / Med-Surg
• Experience  teaching in formal and informal setting (with knowledge of learning principles (Strongly Preferred)

Salary: $50,000-$64,000
