Job Description:

The Roman Healthcare Group is conducting a search for a Senior Infection Prevention and Control Practitioner.  The Practitioner of Infection Prevention & Control will foster a culture of performance improvement and will coordinate the systematic implementation of best practices designed to reduce errors and improve patient outcomes. The Practitioner will plan, direct, and manage the activities of the Infection Control Department; will work closely with designated medical staff and hospital administration, hospital departments, and committees to carry out all functions incorporated into the Infection Prevention & Control program. Individual will be involved in system wide performance improvement activities; is accountable for fulfilling requirements from accrediting and regulatory agencies.

Qualified Candidates Must Have:

• BSN (Master’s Preferred:  MSN, MPH)
• RN, Registered Nurse
• CIC
• 3+ years of recent Infection Prevention in Acute Care Setting

Location Description:

Salary: $80,000-$85,000
